Hope your third year of graduate school is treating you well. We know it's a tall order, but...
try to have a fantastic birthday, or you will upset this very happy moose.
And can you really bring yourself to disappoint this cheerful fellow?
Boldly informing you that this is technically NOT the "official" blog of the UWMSTP. Also informing you that there does not exist an "official" blog of the UWMSTP and that this blog is the only one run by actual UWMSTP students with an emphasis on UWMSTP-relevant content. Just sayin'.

The long day of interviews is over, which means today is
Recruitment Weekend Saturday of Fun Times! Applicants
visiting the program this weekend will be spending the day touring
our HSLC/hospital complex, spending the afternoon at a
local brewery or bowling alley, and ending the evening at
a relaxed dinner party with current UW MSTP directors, students, and
administrators, including the legendary Paul Cook.
Relax and breathe easy, everyone, all of these events should be stress-free. :]

2) Ryan D. will give a short talk to explain the latest in his work on understanding centrosome amplification in breast cancer.
